NEWS–
11/13/2020-
Hey all; needless to say the last year and a half have been incredibly challenging. A Pandemic, job changes for both of us, moving to a different city, losing family etc.
But, things are looking up and I am really excited to announce I am opening a small business OFFICIALLY as a Custom Woodworker in my home woodshop in Gaylord, MI . I’m incredibly lucky I was able to work in the field professionally building furniture for other companies over the last three years coupled with my several years as a hobbyist. Time to strike out on my own and fold my artistic passion into my woodworking passion. Scary, but with the incredible support from my wife Alexis and family, it is a welcome challenge.

Hey all; I havent posted much of anything at all the last 8 months and I apologize for that . My Grandfather and my Mother passed away within 6 months of each other, and doing much of anything since has been difficult. I am attempting to get back into my art and making new pieces soon. Hopefully ill have a few new instruments to share soon. Thanks for every ones patience .

7/16/2019-Blissfest 7/11-7/14
The Bliss Art Gallery was a huge success! Building the gallery was fun and the weekend was very much needed and appreciated. It was the first time in the 39 years of the festival that they had an art gallery, so hopefully it will be a yearly thing. I built it from reclaimed pallets and lumber. It was 20×20 and featured 4 artists. Next year I hope to go a little bigger, and have a few more artists participate. I did learn A LOT about preparation for a big thing like this.
I’m still having a hard time making new artwork…hopefully that changes soon.

6/8/2019-Hey
The last few months have been….wild. The solo art exhibit went great, and concluded May 18th, a full month longer than originally planned! The work was really popular so they asked to keep it longer 🙂 Otherwise, work has been extremely busy and I havent been very present after I lost my grandfather & my mother was put on hospice in the same month. My website and facebook have been largely silent as of late, so I apologize for that. Im catching up and trying to make more art. Little by little.

1/25/19- Hello!!!!!
A) I am so happy to announce that my first solo art show EVER will be held at the Mayan Buzz Cafe in Grand Rapids, MI, from March 30th- April 30th, 2019. Details regarding opening and closing ceremonies will follow closer to date of.
B) I will be directing an Art Program for BlissFest July 2019!! This will include LIVE art making day and night,exclusive workshops, and a handbuilt reclaimed Art Gallery featuring 3 Michigan area artists. As the fest draws closer, I will have more details. Wooooo!!

ArtPrize was an absolutely stellar time; I’m looking forward to coming back to Grand Rapids in March of 2019……… for what exactly is a surprise !! An announcement will be shared regarding this surprise; I really cant wait to share!
